Inalfa Roof Systems designs, develops and manufactures sunroofs and open-roof systems for the automotive industry. We are a First-Tier supplier for brands as BMW Group, Audi, Volvo, Land Rover, and many others. Inalfa Roof Systems Group is headquartered in Venray (Limburg, close Venlo and the German border with Mönchengladbach and Düsseldorf in the area), The Netherlands, and we have a global footprint with facilities in Europe, Asia and the America’s.

You’re going to work in a Project Development team which is part of the R&D department. The team is responsible for the development of projects for several customers. The European Engineering team exists of 15 engineers from multiple cultures, which makes it necessary that you need to be able to work with different cultures. Communication is very important in this team as well as with the Core team experts
There is a good atmosphere in this team: everybody is dedicated to accomplish a good result and customer satisfaction, without losing the personal interest in each other. It’s important for this assignment that you have technical interest and are well motivated. Do you think you have got what it takes?

Your main tasks and responsibilities are:

Support test setup preparation e.g creation of test requests, checking test equipment, preparing cables/wire harness;
Support or independently perform SW testing (HIL);
Support or independently perform component/system tests;
Documentation e.g. spec review, creation of manuals/work instructions, test report review/creation;
General test lab support;
Problem solving;
Planning;
Key performance index maintenance and develop a good working structure.

What do we expect from you?

You are an MBO 4 (secondary vocational education) or Bachelor student in Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering;
You have good technical knowledge, creativity, and practical skills;
You are well motivated;
You have good communication skills in Dutch and English.
You are familiar with basic electronics
Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (LIN/CAN) is a plus
You have MS Office Skills

Are you ready to grow with us?General information and department description:At Inalfa Roof Systems (IRS), the Test department counts approximately 20 employees. The department divides into several teams, each dedicated to a specific customer (e.g. BMW/JLR/Audi) or specialization (e.g. NVH, Projects, Operations).The main task of the test department is to validate the roof systems developed by Inalfa, according to every possible test category and during all phases of a project.Working at the Test department as a student will require a pro-active and flexible attitude, and will surely provide personal development and joy. General tasks and activities of the department:-?? ?Define and execute test plans-?? ?Perform analyses / write test reports / advise with recommendations?-?? ?Perform root cause investigations-?? ?Read / write (test) specifications-?? ?Develop / define test equipment and/or setups Investigation and development of new test methods and improving test setup?s.For defogging windows a new test method shall be defined and validated.
